ACCREDITATIONS

IT IS IMPORTANT TO READ THIS DOCUMENT CAREFULLY BEFORE INITIATING THE ACCREDITATION PROCESS.

Due to the pandemic, we want to ensure everyone’s safety, so we will have three types of accreditation:

  • On-site with access to the press room and stadium.
  • On-site with access to the stadium only
  • Remote coverage with access to all materials provided by the tournament (press releases, photos and press conferences).

The accreditation of all national and international media must be completed through the website starting January 17th, 2022 (registration for television networks starts January 17th) until February 7th, 2022. It is important to mention that we will not accept any media applications after the closing date, no exceptions.

All applications for accreditation for national and international media must comply with the following requirements established by Mextenis:

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR ACCREDITATION:

  1. The journalist, photographer or cameraman selected to cover the event by each media must complete the corresponding application..
  2. Applications for accreditation will only be considered if they were completed by following the official procedure via the website.
  3. As part of the accreditation process, the director or editor of each media must deliver a letterhead from the company providing the description and name of the journalist, photographer and/or cameraman who will carry out the coverage. It will also be necessary to indicate the coverage of each media in its territory (circulation, scope, impact, etc.). If you want to accredit more than one person, it will not be necessary to make more than one letter, you can use the same indicating the descriptions of photographer, cameraman, etc. in the order of priority for the media.
    • If you are an independent journalist or photographer, you must provide witnesses of your work, as well as an official letterhead signed by a media network for which you’ve work and supports your work.
    • No application will be considered complete until the letterhead from the director or editor has been received. Please send your letterhead along with the application.

Once you pre-register online, you will receive a confirmation form, the information (address, times and days) and data to collect your accreditation by presenting your official identification.
