Welcome to ACAPULCO!

We are thrilled to have you here, especially in these complex times. We wish you a successful tournament and hope that you enjoy your time here in México.

Due to the current COVID situation, we have created a Safety Program to ensure your well-being. Following the requirements of the ATP and local authorities, we have created a protected zone (GREEN ZONE) which is an out of bound area for you, your family and your support team. Please keep within this area at all times.

We, the Abierto Mexicano Telcel presentado por HSBC staff, have worked very hard to try to make your stay a secure and pleasant one, so please do not hesitate to approach us with any enquiries at any time.

Please refer only to the identified Tournament staff waiting for you at the airport.

TRANSPORT PROTOCOLS

  • You must wear your mask at all times
  • Please make use of the hand sanitizer available in each unit
  • Every unit has division acrylics and are constantly sanitized before and after every use.
  • All drivers follow strict security protocols and are obliged to wear a mask at all times.

LUGGAGE SANITATION

  • For security reasons, luggage must be sanitized before being loaded into the unit with a special fabric sanitizer.

HEALTH MONITORING & PCR TESTING

PCR TESTING

According to ATP guidelines:

  • PCR testing is mandatory for all players, PST (Player Support Team) & ATP staff
    • Upon arrival
    • Every 4th day after 1st testing
  • Tournament shall cover all ATP players, PST (+2), and ATP staff tests. Additional tests must be covered by the person involved.
  • Results will be shared through email by the TICO (tournament infectious control officer) so please double check your info.
  • PCR results may take up to 24 hrs.
  • Players, PST & Staff must await their test results in their hotel room. 
  • ATP players and staff, once concluding their stay, must take the required tests by the country to which they are headed. The Tournament does not cover this last test.

NEGATIVE results means: you are free to leave the hotel room! Please head for the players lounge to get your credential.

POSITIVE results means: don’t panic! TICO will contact you to initiate the proper COVID-19 protocols indicated by the ATP.

HEALTH MONITORING

Players must complete and submit their daily health questionnaire before entering the players areas.


AMT SAFETY

Due to the current COVID situation, we have created a Safety Program to ensure the well-being of all players, staff and fans.

The AMT SAFETY PROGRAM complies with both the ATP guidelines as well as the local authorities requirements, to guarantee a safe tournament.

SECURITY PROTOCOLS

  • Wear a mask
    • The use of masks is mandatory.
    • Wear your mask over your nose and mouth.
    • If your mask doesn’t fit properly, please ask for a new one at Players Lounge.
  • Stay 6 feet away from others
  • Wash your hands often
    • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands
  • Use a hand sanitizer
    • Cover all surfaces of your hands and rub them together until they feel dry
  • Cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze
    • Always use the inside of your elbow when coughing or sneezing
    • Do not spit
  • Avoid hugs, greetings or any type of interaction with fans
  • Remember to complete and submit your health questionnaire daily.

CLEANING AND SANITATION PROTOCOLS

  • All spaces will be cleaned and disinfected in great depth on a daily basis.
  • Frequently touched surfaces will be sanitized regularly. This includes tables, doorknobs, light switches, countertops, handles, desks, etc
  • All staff will follow strict security protocols especially working in close contact with players.

All courts will be sanitized daily throughout the day. Before and after each training, match and intensively at the end of the day.

GREEN ZONE

Here in Acapulco, the protected, out of bound area exclusive for players, PST, and ATP staff will be called the GREEN ZONE. This area ensures the isolation from hotel guests and the general public.

Players and ATP staff are prohibited from leaving this area as it has been designed for their own safety.

The GREEN ZONE encompasses both the hotel and site players areas.

GREEN ZONE @ HOTEL

DROP OFF/PICK UP HOTEL

Transportation service to the site, Practice Courts, and Players Pool.

  • Located at Condesa’s Restaurant esplanade
  • Runs from 08:00-20:00
  • From March 8th to March 22 nd (no reservation required within this time).

There is a special pathway which can be found outside the players lobby which leads to the site, through courts 1 & 2.

PCR TESTING

  • Located outside the players lobby.
  • Runs from 08:00-20:00

PLAYERS LOBBY

 Where you will find hotel check in, Covid testing desk as well as Transportation Desk.

  • Located at Salon Condesa II.
  • Runs from 7:00-0:00 hrs daily.
  • From the 10th to 21st.

HOTEL CHECK IN

  • Located at Salon Condesa II.
  • Runs 7:00 am – 0:00 daily during.
  • From March 10th to March 21st.

TESTING DESK

  • Located next to the check-in desk and TICO desk .
  • It will be open upon your arrival for your first test and then it will run from 8:00 to 14:00hrs and from 16:00 to 20:00 daily
  • From March 8th to March 21st.

TRANSPORTATION

  • Located at Salon Condesa II.
  • Runs from 8:00 thru 20:00 daily
  • From March 8th to March 22 nd (no reservation required within this time).

Please remember that you are not allowed to leave the green zone.

PROTOCOLS:

  • All units are constantly sanitized. Before and after each ride.
  • Players must travel alone or with their “household” companions only (PST).
  • The use of a mask and hand sanitizer is mandatory.

PLAYERS AREA

PLAYERS LOUNGE

Common area where you’ll  find computers, Xbox, complimentary wifi and TV. Meant for your relaxation.

  • Located at the Diamante A Salon
  • Runs daily from 8:00am up to 30 minutes after the last match
  • From March 10 thru March 21.
  • Stop by the PL desk for assistance or information on anything you might need.

LAUNDRY (service not included)

  • Located at the Foyer (outside the Player’s Lounge).
  • Pick up service from 08:00 to 12:00 noon every day and Delivery service from 10:00 to 14:00 next day,
  • Daily service during the week of the tournament.
  • If you need the same day or out of schedule delivery, ask the Laundry clerk or approach the PL desk for assistance.
  • Prices are in mexican pesos and are listed as a per item rate.

PLAYERS & PST CREDENTIALS

Credentials are available for all PST guests.

  • Located at the Foyer (outside the Player’s Lounge).
  • Runs from 08:00 to 20:00 hrs daily.
  • From March 8 to March 21.
  • It is important that you carry your credential with you at all times for identification and access to the site.
  • If you lose your credential, please report it immediately to the Credentials desk.

CAFÉ ET CHOCOLAT  (service not included)

  • Located at the Foyer (outside the Player’s Lounge).
  • Runs from 11:00 to 21:00, daily.
  • From March 10 thru March 21
  • You’ll receive a 15% discount. Prices are in mexican pesos.

PLAYERS PATIO

Outdoor area where you can chill out and play some games. PST will be allowed in this area.

  • Located at the Foyer (outside the Player’s Lounge).
  • Runs 8:00am until 30 minutes after the first match begins, daily.
  • From March 10 thru March 21

GYM

  • Located at the Foyer (outside the Player’s Lounge).
  • Runs 8:00am until 30 minutes after the first match begins, daily.
  • From March 10 thru March 21

GYM PROTOCOLS

  • The use of this area should be time limited 
  • Physical distancing at all  times.
  • Equipment must be disinfected before and after each use.
  • The number of coaches allowed in the gym at a time should be minimal
  • Keep your towel in sight
  • Coaches must be wearing face mask at all times

PLAYERS, PST & ATP STAFF RESTAURANT

All meals will be at Tavola Restaurant:

  • Breakfast from 7:00 to 11:00
  • Lunch from 12:30 to 17:00
  • Dinner from 18:30 to 23:30.
  • You must present your credential prior to ordering.

RESTAURANT PROTOCOLS

  • Wear a mask at all times except while you are eating and drinking
  • Keep a 6 feet (2 meters) physical distance from other tables
  • Players will only be allowed to sit with the same “household” parties.
  • Do not extend your stay at the restaurant
  • For every table, please mind the number of people allowed.

ADDITIONAL STAFF RESTAURANT

All meals will be at Restaurant Condesa I :

  • Breakfast from 7:00 to 11:00
  • Lunch from 12:30 to 17:00
  • Diner from 18:30 to 23:30
  • You must present your credential prior to ordering.

PHYSIO AREA

Players must book their service ahead of time.

PHYSIO SERVICE

  • Located at Salon Princesa V @ Mezzanine Floor
  • Runs from 09:00 to 22:00 daily.
  • Based on draw size, the tournament will provide physiotherapists at this facility as well as the on‐site Treatment Room.

MASSAGE

  • Located at Salon Princesa VI @ Mezzanine Floor
  • Runs from 9.00 thru 22:00 daily.
  • Based on draw size, the tournament will provide massage therapists at this facility.

PRIVATE PHYSIOS

  • Located at Salon Princesa V II @ Mezzanine Floor
  • Runs from 9.00 thru 22:00  daily.

MEDICAL SERVICE

  • Located at Torre Princesa @Mezzanine Floor
  • Service starts two hours before the first match begins
  • Doctors will still be available for room consultation
  • The following medical procedures and equipment are available:
    • X-RAY
    • ULTRASOUND

PRIZE MONEY

  • Located at Salon Princesa VIII @Mezzanine Floor.
  •  From 15.00 up to 1 hour after the last match finishes, daily during the week of the tournament .

PLAYERS POOL

YES!!! There’s a pool for your and your PST.

  • Located at Perla’s Tower.
  • Open from 9:00 to 18:00.
  • Players must take a ride to the pool.

POOL PROTOCOLS

  • No large gatherings.
    • First come, first serve, as we need to limit the amount of people in the area
    • Distancing of at least 6 feet (2m)
    • Face mask at all times, except when swimming
    • The use of towels is individual and they must not be left behind

GREEN ZONE @ SITE

From the hotel, all green zone members must walk or take a car to the site.

DROP OFF/PICK UP SITE

Transportation service to the Hotel, Practice Courts, Courts 3 & 4, and Players Pool.

  • Located between courts 1 & 2 and Media Zone
  • Runs from 8:00 thru 20:00 daily
  • From March 8th to March 22 nd (no reservation required within this time).

MEDIA ZONE

  • Located behind the GrandStand.
  • Runs from 11:00am thru 01:00am daily

In this area you will find:

  • The Virtual Media Room, for press conferences and one on one interviews.
  • Zoom Room 1 & 2, for media interviews.
  • ATP Media set
  • ESPN set
  • Tournament Media set

CENTRAL COURT

Locker Rooms and ATP offices are located within the Main Stadium premises.

CENTRAL COURT PLAYER BOX

  • Located through the central court.
  • Entrance at the left hand side of the court
  • PST 3 and more, are not allowed in the locker room, and will only be able to enter through the Main Lobby to the central court Players Box.
  • Available only for the duration of the player’s match
  • Player box passes available at Players Lounge desk.

LOCKER ROOM 

  • Located inside the main stadium.
  • Runs from 08:00 hrs until the end of the last match, daily.

Please remember that only Players, PST (1 & 2) , shall be authorized to enter this space.

  • Players are encouraged to minimize the use of the locker rooms as much as possible and limit it to essential pre‐match preparation only.
    • Sanitizing procedures will run all day
    • The use of the locker room is permitted for 10 minutes prior or post match.

TREATMENT ROOM

  • Located inside the locker room
  • Runs from 08:00 hrs until the end of the last match, daily.

GYM 

  • Located inside the locker room
    • Runs from 08:00 hrs until the end of the last match, daily.

PRACTICE COURTS & BALLS

Practice Courts are located at the Pierre Marques Hotel, 2 min away from the Princess Hotel.

  • Players must drive to the location from the hotel Drop Off/pick up

MAIN DRAW CEREMONY

Acapulco’sATP 500 Main draw ceremony will be held virtually on Saturday, February 22nd at 14:30 hrs.
