The Zverev brothers, great performance in doubles

Acapulco, Gro. February 25th.- Alexander and Mischa Zverev, had a spectacular presentation in the doubles tournament of Abierto Mexicano Telcel presentado por HSBC, defeating in the Caliente Grand Stand, the Mexican Miguel Ángel Reyes-Varela and his doubles partner Nicholas Monroe.

In a one hour and fourteen minutes match, “Sascha” and Mischa, only needed to break once their opponents service, in each set, to win. It was a game full of emotions because the public was always supporting the Mexican Reyes-Varela and his teammate.

The final score was 6-3, 7-5, with this result, the Zverev could face the Bryan twins, in case they defeat John Millman and Neal Skupski.

In other results, the Colombians, Juan Sebastián Cabal and Robert Farah, defeated, in a not so easy match, the doubles team of Andreas Seppi and Nicolás Jarry.

Cabal and Farah, finalists in Australian Open, took the victory in two sets (7-6 (2) and 6-3), without planning it, they got their revenge after last’s week loss in Rio de Janeiro semifinals, where they lost to Jarry who, in that tournament played with Máximo González.

The Colombians, currently no. 10 of the world, will face the winners from the match between the Germans Peter Gojowczyk and Kevin Krawietz, against Austin Krajicek and Artem Sitak.
