Azarenka moving steady to the quarter finals

Acapulco, Gro, 27 de febrero.- The former no. 1 the world and double-time Australian Open champion, keeps moving forward in the tournament, this time she left out Tatjana Maria, what gave her a ticket to the quarterfinals.

The match lasted one hour and 24 minutes, and the final score was 6-2, 6-1. Azarenka showed the tennis fans the high quality of her game, she is a strong competitor and a favorite to win the tournament.

“Physically I feel like my movement is really starting to pick up, I felt like my movement has been great. The execution and timing were not there so it made it felt and look inefficient and now it’s a little bit more put together, so I’m happy with the direction I’m going”, explained Azarenka.

Wang will face Bia Haddad Maia, who surprised greatly after she defeated the favorite Sloane Stephens earlier this day.
